However, you might want to note that it's going to work best for Japanese Tea because that's probably where the charcoal in it comes from. Then it matches the water closest to where the local tea is grown in all the conditions of minerals and such. If you drink more Chinese Tea you would do well to go with bamboo charcoal from a Chinese supplier since it'll be true to Chinese water more than anywhere else.
